Like the majority of Monster's headphones, the Solo HDs consist of the ControlTalk feature. Within the time I've been testing these I've listened to some wide array of songs from tough rock to hip-hop to Broadway musicals (do not judge!) to painless listening. Unlike the DiddyBeats and Woman Gaga Heartbeats, the Beats Solo sound superb throughout the musical spectrum. Plus, when I'm rocking podcasts, I do not must transform the quantity up all the way to block noise.Like the majority of Monster's headphones, the Solo HDs incorporate the ControlTalk function.

Up near exactly where the cord connects towards the headphones is a modest controller that facilitates playback manage and a mic for hands-free calling. The volume/playback manage aspect will only function with all the iPhone and iPod. Yet, the mic works on other brands of smart phone (but not all). I've been employing it with my HTC Evo 4G and find that I can talk at a normal quantity and be heard without having to hold the mic closer to my mouth. And considering that the 'phones block a whole lot of noise, I can walk down a busy New York Town street and not need to scream to be heard or strain to know what's simply being stated.
